CRE8 Creatine


CRE8 is a functional shot brand built around a single idea: performance should be effortless. Their first product — a 50ml daily creatine shot — needed an identity as precise as the formula inside. The brief was to build the brand from scratch: a visual language for a new kind of wellness essential, designed for people who move fast and expect more.
 





MOODBOARD  The moodboard was built around several keywords (Effortless Boost, Optimised Lifestyle, Targeted Wellness, Dynamic Motion, Refined Utility) shaping the creative concept before any design decisions were made. References pulled from athletic culture, functional packaging, editorial photography, and typographic energy, mapping the space where CRE8 could live: performance without effort, precision without coldness.



LOGO EXPLORATION  Logo development ran across five rounds of iteration. Early directions explored "CRE-LABS" as a clinical, lab-grade positioning — testing iconography, stacked wordmarks, and typographic treatments from geometric grotesques to experimental letterforms.

By the third round, the name shifted to CRE8, and the final wordmark was pushed toward something more alive: organic shapes, references that felt human in the hand rather than designed for the shelf.





PACKAGING  The identity adapts across two formats: a 50ml aluminium shot bottle and a multipack box. The wordmark's energy translates directly to pack, while the emblem anchors the base of the bottle as a structural graphic device — recognisable at small scale and bold at large.
